Michael Danes is a Seattle-based abstract painter working in acrylic and mixed media. His paintings evolve through a process of layering, experimentation, and refinement, allowing each work to reveal itself over time.

Influenced by a background in design, architecture, and landscape, Danes creates atmospheric paintings that balance texture, restraint, and light. Rather than telling a story, his work leaves space for viewers to bring their own.
